Now that we have read about the Four Key Principles is L&L, what procedures do you have in place in your classroom that will help support and initiate these principles? How do you think these principles will help students? What will the benefits be to the classroom climate? Do you think these principles mesh well with initiatives and trainings that the district has recommended? Which do you think are supported and which do you think will not? What questions or concerns do you have?

These chapters talked about Principles and Systems, and Enhancement of Self Concept. First tell us about one of your learning experiences. Was it a system or principle approach? How did that work for you and the other students involved? Second, tell us why you think enhancing the student's self concept is important. Share one thing you do in your class that works or something new you plan to try this year!

Chapter 1-5 Question 1

In the first chapter, they talked about creating a higher standard of behavior. As they continued, I infer the same theme throughout this section. What parts of the method do you think promote holding students to a higher standard? Do you think that there are benefits to the whole child of using these methods? As teachers that are experimenting with these methods, what do you think the drawbacks or road blocks would be?

There are 5 parts so there will be one question from each part and the final question will be cumulative response. I will post a new question every two weeks covering the next section.
